Dieses Jahr ist das Motto “Spirit of Joy goes POP!!” Jawohl, Michael Jackson, The Eurythmics, George Michael… All die Hits, die wir lieben, mit Gospel Spirit, tollen Melodien, tanzen und klatschen, und vor allem: großem Spaß!
Rachelle und Falk warten auf euch wie immer mit 3 Tagen voller Freude am Singen!

Rachelle and Falk await you for 3 days of pure JOY!! Spirit of Joy!

This year the workshop is opened to all, men and women, teenagers from 14 year old on!
We will need a minimum of 2 men.
A small audition will take place for new participants to assure that everyone will be able to follow the level with ease for the rest of the weekend.

Die TeilnehmerInnen sollen, wenn möglich, am Konzert, Montag 9.7. um 20 Uhr im Freskensaal bei zwei bis drei Liedern aktiv mitmachen / Participants should join in with two or three songs at the concert on Monday, July 9, if possible ….

Samstag, 11.00 - 13.00 / Pause / 15.00 - 19.00

Ursprünglich aus Haiti, geboren in New York, aufgewachsen in Montreal und jetzt sesshaft in Berlin, weist die versierte Live- und Studio-Sängerin einen beeindruckenden Werdegang auf. Ihre musikalische Reise begann mit Trommeln, später tourte Rachelle als Background Sängerin durch die ganze Welt mit Celine Dion. 2012 hat Rachelle als solo artist vor den Vereinten Nationen gesungen und 2013 war sie Gastsängerin bei den Wiener Sängerknaben.
Gesegnet mit magischer Stimme, mit der sie die Herzen öffnet und auf schauernde Höhen bringt, führt Rachelle Jeanty durch ihre authentische Persönlichkeit und anziehende Präsenz bei den Workshops und auf der Bühne ihr Publikum zu „standing ovations“ und Zugabe-Rufen.
Im vergangenen Jahr, während sie mit ihrer Band Jazz sang und viele Soul- und Gospelkonzerte in Europa gab, leitete sie erfolgreich ihre ''SPIRIT OF JOY'' Gospelworkshops in Italien, Österreich, Deutschland, Frankreich und Marokko.
Originally from Haiti, born in New York, raised in Montreal, and now based in Berlin, this accomplished singer and recording artist brings to us an impressive background. Her musical journey beginning on the drums, Rachelle has then toured the world with Celine Dion as a back vocalist, as well as with French superstars such as Veronique Sanson, Eddy Mitchell and legendary Robert Charlebois.
Blessed with a magical voice, known to open the heart and bring us to shivering heights, Rachelle Jeanty's authentic personality and magnetic presence on stage leave audiences standing in ovation for more, wherever she goes.
In the last year, while singing jazz with her band and giving many soul and gospel concerts in Europe, she has been successfully conducting the ''SPIRIT OF JOY'' gospel workshop in Italy, Austria, Germany, France and Morocco.

HINWEISE FÜR KURSTEILNEHMER / INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

AUFNAHMEBEDINGUNGEN. Teilnahme ab 14 Jahren möglich. Kein musiktheoretisches Wissen erforderlich, dafür aber viel Freude am Singen, „gute Ohren“ und ein Sinn für Rhythmus und Musikalität.
CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION People over the age of 14 are allowed to participate in courses. No music theory knowledge is necessary, but a good ear and sense of rhythm and musicality.

ANMELDUNG. Die Anmeldung erlangt durch Überweisung der Anmeldegebühr von € 50,- ihre Gültigkeit. Sie ist bis spätestens 26. Juni 2018 mittels Erlagschein oder Euro-Überweisung auf das Konto des Musikforum, IBAN: AT381700000116001039, BIC: BFKKAT2K, mit dem Zusatz „Spesenfrei für den Empfänger“ (Verwendungszweck: "Name des Teilnehmers / Name des Kursleiters") einzuzahlen. Im Falle einer Nichtteilnahme wird die Anmeldegebühr einbehalten. Die restliche Kursgebühr ist bei der Inskription in bar zu bezahlen.
APPLICATION will be accepted as definite against payment of € 50,- application fee till June 26, 2018. Payment has to be done by money order to the account of the Musikforum, IBAN: AT381700000116001039, BIC: BFKKAT2K and marked "Free of charge for the recipient" (purpose: "participants Name/ teachers Name"). The rest of the course fee has to be paid on enrolment in cash. The application fee will not be refunded if an applicant is unable to take part.

INSKRIPTION. Samstag, 7.7., 9 - 10 Uhr, im Sekretariat des MUSIKFORUM. Workshop beginnt um 11 Uhr. Im Rahmen der Inskription erhalten Sie auch alle wichtigen Informationen über den detaillierten Ablauf des Kurses.
ENROLMENT. Saturday, July 7, 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. at MUSIKFORUM office, Stift Viktring. The workshop begins at 11 a.m. The participants will receive all necessary information about their course on enrolment.

UNTERKUNFT. Bei rechtzeitiger Anmeldung stellt Ihnen das Sekretariat gerne Adressen von Hotels und privaten Pensionen in der Umgebung des Stiftes zur Verfügung.
ACCOMODATION. If you register in a timely manner, the office will gladly provide you with hotel and private B&B addresses in the surrounding area of the course location.

ÜBUNGSRÄUME. Das weiträumige Stift bietet ausreichende Übungsräume an.
REHEARSAL ROOMS. The monastery provides an extensive number of rehearsal rooms.
